 Disney Channel Original Movies are everyone’s favorite, and some of them are still on the priority list of movies after decades. Movies like High School Musical and Halloweentown play an essential role in American pop culture.

Nick Jonas

One of the Jonas Brothers appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie titled ‘Camp Rock’ along with actors Demi Lovato, Meaghan Martin, Alyson Stoner, and Daniel Fathers. The movie was directed by Matthew Diamond and released in 2008.

Camp Rock was a hit, and shortly after the premiere, it was watched by 8.9 million viewers. The film is currently the third most-viewed Disney Original Movies after Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie and High School Musical 2. However, among the three Jonas Brothers, Nick gained more popularity through the show and landed up more acting jobs in the industry. Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Cuoco started her career with Alley Cats Strike in 2000. Rod Daniel directed the movie. Cuoco is popular for her role as Penny in the famous situation comedy series The Big Bang Theory.

The movie starts with a tie basketball game between West Appleton and East Appleton. The two cities were competing for the trophy, The Mighty Apple, and since the game is a tie, the winner of the tournament would be decided through a ten-pin bowling competition. Cuoco was a player for West Appleton, and her team wins the match against East Appleton.

Between Alley Cats Strike and The Big Bang Theory, she has been featured in 8 Simple Rules. After that, her career graph has gradually grown up, and she appeared in The Wedding Ringer in 2015, Hop in 2011, Author Anonymous in 2014, The Penthouse in 2010, and many more.

Brenda Song

Brenda Song’s first acting gig was with Disney in the movie The Ultimate Christmas Present in 2010. The film is directed by Greg Beeman and written by Hallie Einhorn and Michael Hitchcock

The film is about two girls Samantha Elizabeth “Sam” Kwan (played by Brenda Song) and Allison Rachel “Allie” Thompson (played by Hallee Hirsh). These girls get a weather machine and use it to control the weather in Los Angeles. The machine is a secret machine that Santa designs to ensure that the world gets white snowy Christmas.

Brenda Song started her career as a child model. Before appearing in the Disney movie, she did a few TV series roles, including 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd in 1999 and Fudge in 1995. In 2000 she received the Young Artist Award for her performance in the movie The Ultimate Christmas. After that, she appeared on many Disney shows; she played the role of London Tipton in the sit-com The Suite Life of Zack and Cody in 2005-2008 and also in the spin-off show The Suite Life on Deck in 2008-2011.

Kat Dennings

Kat Dennings is known for her characters in the situational comedy series 2 Broke Girls and movies, including Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. However, she started her career with Disney Channel Original Movie, the Halloween outstanding The Scream Team.

Stuart Gillard directed the Scream Team, and Daniel Berendsen wrote the screenplay. The movie is about two children Claire and Ian, who move into the town where their grandfather had died. Ian gets some intuition that their grandfather’s spirit wants to connect with them.

Audiences can see many talented performers in the movie, including Tommy Davidson, Kathy Najimy, and Eric Idle. Dennings is currently working on the project Dollface with Brenda Song.

Disney has provided the performers with a great platform to start their careers. In the coming years, we hope the audience will see more emerging talents under the Walt Disney banner.
